My Journey

IN THE BEGINNING...

In 2003 at the age of 15 as a health conscious, active, sporty teenager I joined a gym. I didn’t know it but this was the beginning of a long inward journey. By the time I was 18 I knew that health and wellness was the area that I wanted to build my career around.

THE PATH EMERGES...

In 2006 with a personal training course at K11 under my belt and armed with the knowledge of anatomy, muscle function and the four component of fitness (MUSCULAR STRENGTH AND ENDURANCE, CARDIOVASCULAR FITNESS and FLEXIBILITY), I began working as a trainer side by side with completing my college. In 2010 I did a degree course from American College Of Sports Medicine(ACSM). In 2011 I added a course in sports nutrition and special populations which deals with injuries and rehabilitation.

THE FORK ON THE ROAD...

In 2012 a course at SHIVAGAKOMARPAJ OLD SCHOOL OF MEDICINE in CHANG MAI on Thai therapy, energy lines, energy points, acupressure, and traditional knowledge and techniques gave me an inkling that there was more to health than just the physical aspect of fitness. Even though I now weighed 100 Kilograms packed with muscle and lifting impressive weights at the gym, I joined a yoga class. Immediately I knew intuitively that this was where I needed to go next. More experience in Yoga gave me my first insight into the MIND-BODY connection and complete change in perspective along with a lifestyle overhaul. I realized that the body is just a vehicle to achieve a goal. The final destination is enlightenment.

ONE SMALL STEP AT A TIME...

Today my emphasis is on holistic training incorporating strength, flexibility, endurance, posture, alignment, and breathing. I will always insist on technique rather than on repetitions and disciplined, steady accomplishments rather than an impressive but risky approach.

...ONE STEP CLOSER TO YOUR GOAL

My mission is to help each client understand their body and their unique capabilities… physical and mental. To help clients realize that the mind, body, and emotions are intricately bound together. A physical setback will result in depression if your mind is not strong enough, and an emotional upheaval will inevitably result in a physical harm over time.

To acknowledge that one must prepare for all challenges that life may throw at you, be they physical, mental or emotional.

To realize that life’s potential can be maximized only by uniting the power of MIND & BODY.
